This ginger-honey tea hits the spot!

Ingredients

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 lemon, juiced, plus 1 large strip lemon rind, divided
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/3 cup honey (eyeball it)
  • 4 chamomile tea bags or a tea variety of your choice

Preparation

Slice the ginger into coins. Heat the ginger, lemon rind, water and honey to a boil in small pot. Add the lemon juice to the hot water and transfer to a tea pot.

Add tea bags to the pot and steep. Remove the bags and serve tea.
