I asked her for the recipe and made it for a gathering at my house. Now at every party ,everyone asks for this salad.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 4 slices bacon (fried and diced)
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup cashews, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion chopped

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar

Preparation

It's very simple. Mix the chopped broccoli, raisins, celery, onion, cashews, and sunflower seeds in a medium bowl.

In a small bowl mix together the mayo, sugarand vinegar. Just before you are ready to serve, pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture. Toss it all together. It is not low fat but it is sure Yummy!
