Bottom-of-the-Salsa-Jar Salad Dressing

What can you do with that leftover salsa that you can't reach at the bottom of the jar? Make this dressing/sauce, which is perfect for jazzing up pork, chicken or fish or for making a southwestern-style salad (you can even use leftover baked tortilla chips at the bottom of the bag to add some crunch to the salad!).

Ingredients

  • 1 almost-empty jar of salsa
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup red or white vinegar
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Add the oil, vinegar, salt and freshly ground pepper to the salsa jar and give it a good shake!
